Make Your Business
a part of the story
On Monday December 18th in Bansko, Bulgaria, residents, holidaymakers, apartment owners, local and national businesses will come together at the Regnum Bansko 5 * ApartHotel & Spa to welcome the holiday season, to have fun, to celebrate together, and to make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged and disabled local people, elderly suffering dementia and care for young adults with cancer and terminal illness.
The Bansko Winter Ball is a not for profit event created to bring the Expat and Bulgarian communities together, to make a difference to the lives of young people diagnosed with cancer and also to local disadvantaged children and elderly dementia sufferers through the work of the local charity Sunflower.
Sunflower is a charity organisation based in Bansko, registered with the Bulgarian Government No 177063046. It is focused on fundraising to provide support for elderly, disabled or disadvantaged individuals within the social care system. Our aim is simply to make life easier, better and more ‘normal’ for them by improving their social integration and employability and quality of life.
We can’t fix everything, but together, we can try.
And we need your help.
Youth Cancer Trust
So many of us are touched by the tragedy of Cancer directly or indirectly, and even in today’s high-tech medical world many people are still diagnosed every year with the disease.
Our aim in raising funds for Youth Cancer Trust is to enable them to continue their work and bringing wonderful memories to young people facing a very tough time, relieving the sense of isolation they feel during illness and at such a critical age.
If we can cover the cost of just one memorable holiday for a young person fighting a dreadful illness, it will be worth the effort.
The Winter Ball 2017 is also an opportunity for your business
